Another set of abducted Bethel Baptist college students, Damishi have been released days after two other students of the school were rescued by the police. The students were said to be found inside the Tsoho Gaya Forest in Chikun Local Government Area of the state in the early hours of Sunday. As of the time of reporting, it is unclear whether the bandits released them for ransom or they were rescued by security operatives or escaped by themselves.
Although, Some of the parents who are currently in the school premises waiting to reunite with their Children told reporters that the bandits were paid a ransom before the students were released.
A total of 121 students of the school were kidnapped by bandits early this month at the premises of the school. Before now five of the students regained freedom separately, which now brings the total of freed students to 32, while we await a positive response from the remaining 89.
