The Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN), popularly referred to as oil marketers have disclosed that its members are now loading petroleum products from the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries.

This was made known by the marketers in a statement yesterday by the PETROAN spokesperson, Joseph Obele, saying that the current situation of the loading has put to rest the previous doubts that the refineries owned by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) were not fully operational.

The statement partly said, “PETROAN members are now loading petroleum products, including Dual-Purpose Kerosene, Automotive Gas Oil, and Premium Motor Spirits”.

PETROAN are optimistic that soon the market forces will begin to work in favour of Nigerians which will translate into better pricing option and consequent appreciation of naira, he concluded.
