The All Progressives Congress (APC) branch in Lagos State has reiterated its confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership, stating that his Renewed Hope Agenda is laying the groundwork for Nigeria's long-term development following the general elections in 2027.

The party said in a statement on Tuesday that President Tinubu's mandate goes beyond election cycles and that his government is concentrated on fundamental changes meant to reorient the economy, bolster national security, and win back investor confidence.

The party cited financial expert Bismarck Rewane's latest economic forecasts as additional support for the administration's policy course, citing increasing macroeconomic indicators and a slowdown in inflation as proof that changes are starting to pay off.

The statement claims that as reforms continue to be implemented, Rewane's research predicts continued GDP growth, enhanced foreign currency stability, and greater capital inflows, bolstering confidence in the nation's economic future.

The Lagos APC insisted that President Tinubu continue to prioritize long-term nation-building above short-term political considerations, accusing opposition parties of being fixated on the 2027 polls.

It further stated that investments in manufacturing, social inclusion, digital innovation, transportation infrastructure, and agriculture are examples of a governance strategy intended to produce long-term national growth.

The party reaffirmed its support and asked Nigerians to maintain their optimism and patience, emphasizing that national rebirth and economic recovery need time and perseverance.

According to the statement's conclusion, President Tinubu's leadership would be recognized for changing the course of Nigerian governance and creating the conditions for long-term prosperity after 2027.
