Omowunmi Aloba, a widow of the late Nigerian music star Mohbad, has breaks silence that she is “the most bullied widow” in Nigeria. She revealed that especially her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, has been trolling and gagging her through recruitment of others in his misadventure of demanding a DNA test for her son, Liam.
The young widow was speaking on TVC’s programme Your View, saying, “I have nothing to hide. I don’t have an issue with my father-in-law asking me for a DNA test, but it’s the way he is going about it. Presently, I am the most bullied widow in Nigeria.”
She lamented that she don’t know what changed as she used to be bestie of her father-in-law when her husband’s was alive. Recalling that he was responsible for pressurizing both her and her late husband into having a child when they were not even ready, influencing them through fasting and prayer.
Mohbad passed-on September 12, 2023, and less than 24 hours after his tragic passing, his father, Joseph Aloba, buried him in Ikorodu, Lagos State, the act that made many people into suspicion and demanded his body be exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy due to controversies surrounding his death.
Although, the result of the autopsy are still not available, but the father of the deceased, Joseph Aloba, has previously stated that the singer’s body would only be reburied when the autopsy results are released and a DNA test is conducted on his grandson, Liam, to ascertain his true paternity
