South Africa authority has approached the International Criminal Court of Justice, ICJ today to open a case accusing Israel of breaching the UN Genocide Convention, saying that even the deadly October 7 Hamas attack could not justify such alleged actions. Pretoria has lodged an urgent appeal to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to force Israel to “immediately suspend” its military operations in Gaza, as the destruction is going into its 13th week. 

UN human rights chief, Volker Turk has today Thursday described the call by Israeli officials “very disturbed” after an advocacy by senior Israeli officials calling for Palestinians to leave Gaza and resettle Israelites. Israel’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir had on Monday called for promoting “a solution to encourage the emigration of Gaza’s residents” and the re-establishment of Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip.

A 7.5 magnitude earthquake has hit the western part of Japan this afternoon triggering a red alert for tsunami.
As the pandemonium gets higher, residents were prompted to evacuate all the affected coastal areas with immediate effect by the authority. According to the United States Geological Survey, USGS, the earthquake was measured to be approximately 10km depth and 42km northeast of Anamizu in Ishikawa prefecture.

The Russia Federation has today Monday, 25th Sept. 2023 has placed the President of the International Criminal Court, ICC, President, Piotr Hofmanski, on his wanted list. As captured on the Russian Federation database, “Hofmanski Piotr Jozef, Polish, Wanted under an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation”. Although, the Russian government did not tell the world any allegation that has qualified the ICC president to be on it’s wanted list.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on the international bodies to sanction black market of mineral resources across the globe as most of it is are stolen products from third world countries of Africa. Tinibu made the appeal while delivering his address at the ongoing 78th United Nation General Assembly, UNGA currently being held at New York, United states of America. During his address, the Nigerian leader said, “This is my first address before the General Assembly. Permit me to say a few words on behalf of Nigeria, on behalf of Africa, regarding this year’s theme.”
