Kering Eyewear has acquired the Italian company Lenti, enhancing its industrial and in-house capabilities for lens production. Previously part of the Safilo Group since 1996, Lenti is known for its expertise in moulding and surface treatments, catering to a wide range of industries, including eyewear sun lenses, visors, and protective components for the lighting, automotive, and motorcycle sectors. The company’s headquarters in Bergamo employs around 100 staff.

This acquisition allows Kering Eyewear to integrate Lenti’s technical expertise and production know-how into its operations, further strengthening its capacity to develop high-performance, innovative, and quality ‘Made in Italy’ sun lenses.

Commenting on the acquisition, Kering Eyewear Founder, President, and CEO Roberto Vedovotto said:

“We have appreciated the excellence of Lenti's products for many years, and we are very proud to see it now joning Kering Eyewear, providing an additional area of expertise to our platform of best-in-class manufacturing skills, facilities, and more than anything else, talent..”
