President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Abu Dhabi yesterday to participate in this year’s Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He landed at 2:14 a.m. local time and was welcomed by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the summit, themed "The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress," President Tinubu will showcase Nigeria’s achievements and reforms in energy efficiency, transportation modernization, public health, and economic development. 

His participation highlights Nigeria’s dedication to addressing global challenges through sustainable and collaborative approaches.

President Tinubu will also engage in bilateral talks with UAE leaders, aimed at strengthening relations and exploring mutual opportunities.

Accompanying him are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other senior officials.

He is expected to return to Nigeria on January 16. ADSW 2025, a globally renowned event for sustainability innovation, gathers business leaders and civil society representatives to promote sustainable development and economic advancement.

Over its 15-year history, the summit has become a pivotal platform for building partnerships and driving significant initiatives in clean energy and global growth.
