Roger Federer dispatches Tomas Berdych in straight sets to march into his 11th Wimbledon final. He overcome the big-hitting Czech 7 - 6, 7 -6, 6 - 4 on Friday during the second Men's single semi final match to set up a final with seventh seed Marin Cilic.

37 year old American tennis star, Venus Williams beats Britain’s Johanna Konta, 6-4, 6-2 to reach her first final since 2009. The veteran tennis player will meet Spain’s Garbine Muguruza in the finals this weekend. The defeat effectively ended Konta’s bid to become the first British woman to win the country’s grand Slam tournament in 40 years.

Novak Djokovic beat Gael Monfils 6-3 6-4 to win the Aegon International in Eastbourne in his debut outing for the grass court tournament. The world number four took a late wild card to enter the tournament as he whitewashed all four opponents to clinch the title.
