World boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua in his effort to retain the title of the champion had descended hard on his Bulgarian rival, Kubrat Pulev near the end of the ninth round on Saturday to retain his IBF, WBO, and WBA belts.
The Nigerian-born Briton was almost wining when he knocked Pulev in the third round after a sweet right hand at the Wembley Serena in London.
However, the challenger in front of the multitude bounced back to taste the home favorite.
Pulev, 39, remained wild though could not intimidate Joshua, but all chances of escape seem to be shut during the ninth round.
Joshua in his usual tactics landed the clubbing right uppercut which sent pulev into a convulsion.
Before Pulev could bounce back on his feet, he received another blow sending another wave of tension that sends him to blank in the contest. (Reuters)
