FIFA and UEFA have suspended Russia's national teams and clubs from international football until further notice due to the country's invasion of Ukraine. In a joint statement, the two football governing bodies announced that all Russian teams “whether national representative teams or club teams, shall be suspended from participation in both Fifa and Uefa competitions until further notice.

Premier League club Leeds United have decided to “part company” with manager Marcelo Bielsa following a dreadful run that left them just three points above the relegation zone. “Leeds United can today confirm the club have parted company with head coach Marcelo Bielsa,” read a club statement.
