English football club Watford, also known by their nick name The Hornets have signed super eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye on a five-and-a-half-year contract from Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam for a fee understood to be in the region of €6 million (£5.1million).

Newcastle United have confirmed the appointment of Eddie Howe as a successor of Steve Bruce on a three (3) year deal.  Known for his success with Bournemouth, Howe has been out of work since leaving the Cherries in the summer of 2020.

Spanish and Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez has returned to Spain as the new head coach of FC Barcelona following the sacking of Ronald Koeman last month. The 41-year-old played for Barcelona for 17 years, making 767 appearances and winning 25 trophies, including four Champions League wins and eight league titles.

Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed the appointment of former Chelsea, Juventus and Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte for the next 18 months as Nuno Espirito Santo replacement. The former Chelsea boss, who guided the Blues to the 2016-17 Premier League title and 2018 FA Cup triumph has signed a deal until 2023 with the option to extend.

Tottenham Hotspurs has sacked Manager Nuno Espirito Santo after the 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United on Saturday. Nuno who left Wolves in May after four seasons in charge for a two-year contract with spurs in June of 2021 have been relieved of his duty due to a series of poor results.

Barcelona Football club have relieved Ronald Koeman of his duty as head coach of the club following Wednesday’s defeat at Rayo Vallecano. Barcelona’s former midfielder Xavi Hernandez, who is currently in charge of Qatari club Al Sadd, and River Plate coach Marcel Gallardo are reportedly among those the offer may be given to.
