The President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick is inching closer to convincing Chelsea young striker, Tammy Abraham to abandon England and join the Super Eagles.  Nff.com reports that the President of NFF on Wednesday met with the player and his agent, Neil Fewills in London to finalize plans for a possible switch from England to the Super Eagles.

Pinnick was quoted as saying “Most recently, there was a meeting with Tammy, which Tammy’s agent, Neil Fewills also attended. It was a useful meeting, and I can say the talks are at an appreciable level now and all is looking good"

He added that “Tammy is like a son to me, because his father was my childhood friend. I believe he is a good prospect for the Super Eagles and the effort is well worth it.”

Abraham scored 23 goals for Bristol City last season during his loan spell at the club. He is currently on Loan at Swansea City.
