Former Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour, has hinted at the teams that would finish before Chelsea FC in this season's Premier League table. Chelsea ended –up in third place on the Premier League table last season, with the hope of improving this year.
The Stamford Bridge team are currently maintaining the tenth position on the League table shortly after their latest 1-0 defeat to Manchester City yesterday night. However, Parlour is optimistic that teams like Arsenal, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Man City will be the teams to finish before Chelsea adding that Graham Potter’s side will struggle to finish in the top six.
While speaking on the position Chelsea could finish this season Parlour told talkSPORT that the “Top six will be a push with the teams who are there at the moment,”
According to Parlour, “You’ve got Arsenal and Man City, Liverpool, I know, had that awful result against Brantford, but I can still see them having a good run until the end of the season, challenging for the top four.
He added, “You’ve got Spurs, who had a big result the other night against Palace.
He added that “Newcastle are going to keep winning games because they don’t concede and you always have a chance if you don’t concede, if you stay in the game you will always get a chance.”
