Liverpool Football Club has now won the League Cup (Carabao) on nine (9) different occasions; The latest being the triumph over Chelsea after Kepa Arrizabalaga missed the decisive penalty in a marathon 11-10 shootout at Wembley.

The reds claimed its first Carabao Cup win since 2012 after a high octane game versus Chelsea at Wembley. Liverpool dominated proceedings, while Chelsea created more clear openings. One of the major highlights of the evening was when the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) chopped off Matip's goal.

The game then went to penalties as Kepa was introduced, but he failed to save a single penalty before sending his over the bar to hand Liverpool victory.

Liverpool will now look on to add to their trophy cabinet as they host Norwich in the FA Cup last 16 on Wednesday before returning to Premier League duties on Saturday at home to West Ham, while Chelsea with face Luton on Wednesday in the FA Cup.
