Nasarawa United technical director, Kabiru Dogo has disclosed that to reposition the club, it is important to sign quality strikers during the mid-season transfer window. The Solid Miners have being battling for goals this season and currently occupy the bottom spot on the table. The Lafia club lost 2-1 to Enyimba in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, match day 17 encounter in Aba yesterday.


If the club should emerge victorious for the remaining part of the season, Dogo stated that they need to address the challenges of a good striker.

Dogo while speaking to the club media today said, , “We are looking forward to rejigging the team during the mid-season break“.

“We need to address our challenges, particularly in the finishing area, as we enter the last and tough stanza of the league campaign,” He concluded.
