ESPN News reports that Gremio is determine to block Luis Suarez from joining Inter Miami club where he could be reunited with Lionel Messi. The MLS side is strategizing to sign Suarez before the transfer window closes on August 2. There are rumours that Suarez is ready to buy his way out of his contract with Gremio in order to make it for the transfer happen.
However, Uruguayan current contract is set to expires by December 2024 meanwhile, the Brazilian club have made it clear to him that they want him to stay pending the end of the year.
Suarez can’t wait as his former Barcelona comrades like Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have already signed for Inter Miami this summer, making it another large family club.
