The House of Representatives has reached a resolution to investigate and prevent the alleged leakage of classified documents to the general public, describing it as an act of sabotage. This decision was taken after the adoption of a motion by Rep. Babatunde Adejare at the plenary on Thursday, titled: ‘Need to Address Leakage of Classified Security Documents to the Public.’

Gunmen have killed three policemen and injured two persons while setting a police vehicle ablaze at the Ezeiweka area of the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State. It was gathered that the two persons injured were also cops during the shooting incident at a security post mounted by the police operatives.

The Yobe Police Command says it has arrested a 22-year-old Yobe housewife, Khadija Yakubu, for allegedly Killing three Stepchildren with Poison in Potiskum town, Yobe State. The incident occurred at Makara-Huta area of Potiskum in the early hours of Friday when the three deceased drank a poisoned tea allegedly prepared by their stepmother. ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Police Public Relations Officer in the Yobe State Police Command, confirmed the incident, noting that the suspect had been apprehended. According to him, the victims were; Umar Alh Haruna, aged 12; Ahmed Alh Haruna, aged 9; Maryam Alh Haruna, aged 11 as well as a 7-year-old Zainab Alh Haruna.

Police disclose is has arrested twconnection to the murder of killing of Abdulkarim Na-Allah, the eldest son of Senator Bala Ibn Na-Allah by the Kaduna State Police Command. Senator Na’Allah represents Kebbi South senatorial district in the National Assembly. ASP Mohammed Jalige, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, confirmed that the two suspects were arrested a week ago in Kaduna. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has listed six Nigerians among 38 global financiers of terrorism and other criminal activities. According to WAM news agency, the information was released on Monday during the UAE’s federal cabinet meeting in Abu Dhabi. The six Nigerians are Abdurrahaman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad.

Olajide, the younger brother of Omoyele Sowore, Sahara Reporters’ Publisher and human rights activist, has been murdered. Sowore, who announced the death in a Facebook post on Saturday said his brother was killed by suspected herdsmen operating as kidnappers in Edo state.
