The Nigerian Military has commenced operations in Orlu and Orsu Local Government Areas of Imo State in search of camps occupied by personnel of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) following its link with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The Army spokesperson of the 34 artillery Brigade, Obinze, Owerri, Babatunde Zubairu disclosed this, saying residents were not harassed during the operation, also confirming the deployment of helicopters and other military gadgets to aid with the search.

Obinwanne Okeke, popularly known as Invictus Obi who was accused of defrauding an American citizen of $11million has finally been sentenced to 10 years jail term. Okeke defrauded an American of $11million through internet fraud and was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) while trying to board a plane at Dulles International Airport.

A  Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has today Okayed the application of the embattled former Abia state governor, Orji Kalu over his N7billion fraud seeking to restrain the anti-graft from re-trying him. Justice Inyang Ekwo has today also ordered that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to stay active on their move to retry the former Governor Kalu.
