The ruling of a Lagos High court sitting in Ikeja over a no-case submission filed by Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, aka Evans and his co-defendants, would be decided today. The pronouncement of Justice Hakeem Oshodi, a presiding judge over the case would determine whether the case would continue or not.

Following the allegation raised by a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Obadiah Mailafiya, that “a Northern Governor is the commander of Boko Haram”, the Department of States Services (DSS) has invited him to come and explain further. Mailafiya is expected to be at the DSS Jos office this afternoon, Wednesday 12th August 2020.

President Buhari has given the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) only one week to offset all monies due for beneficiaries of the commission’s scholarship. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Friday, July 24, 2020, has officially handed over custody of the three suspects involved in the incident that led to the death of late Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile on July, 14, to the Kaduna State Police Command, for further investigation and possible prosecution.
