The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has listed six Nigerians among 38 global financiers of terrorism and other criminal activities. According to WAM news agency, the information was released on Monday during the UAE’s federal cabinet meeting in Abu Dhabi. The six Nigerians are Abdurrahaman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad.

Olajide, the younger brother of Omoyele Sowore, Sahara Reporters’ Publisher and human rights activist, has been murdered. Sowore, who announced the death in a Facebook post on Saturday said his brother was killed by suspected herdsmen operating as kidnappers in Edo state. According to him: “My immediate younger brother, Olajide Sowore was today shot and killed near Okada in Edo state by reportedly herdsmen /kidnappers on his way from Igbinedion University in Edo state where he is studying Pharmacy. “They snuffed out the life of yet another real human being! Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah representing Kebbi South has commented on the death of his son, pilot Abdulkarim Na’Allah, who was murdered in cold blood in his house on Saturday in Kaduna state by unknown assailants. In a statement on Monday by the lawmaker, Bala Ibn expressed hope that the death of his son would play a major role in finding solutions to Nigeria’s security problems. Senator Na’Allah while narrating the ordeal said the assailants who murdered his son were not armed with guns and that they gained access to his residence through the roof and strangled him. The lawmaker said that he would continue to love his dear son in death as he was a wonderful person in his life. Senator Na’Allah also said the life of his late son was not better than that of any other Nigerian, adding that the family has left everything in the hands of Almighty Allah. The senator also appreciated the Nigerian Police and Kaduna government for their intervention and prayed God to grant his son eternal rest.
