The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, narrated before the Federal High Court in Abuja, how former Aviation Minister, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, received N26 million from the office of the National Security Adviser, NSA, without executing any contract. The anti-graft agency told the court that the money was sent to the erstwhile Minister in a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ (a sack), through his driver identified as Francis and his Personal Assistant named Victor.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has busted a gang of internet fraudsters in Minna, Niger state. The nine suspects arrested by the commission were paraded on Monday, February, 22. The commission revealed in a statement shared on its official Twitter page that the culprits were apprehended in an early morning operation on February 22.

The Nigerian Military has commenced operations in Orlu and Orsu Local Government Areas of Imo State in search of camps occupied by personnel of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) following its link with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Obinwanne Okeke, popularly known as Invictus Obi who was accused of defrauding an American citizen of $11million has finally been sentenced to 10 years jail term. Okeke defrauded an American of $11million through internet fraud and was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) while trying to board a plane at Dulles International Airport.

Scores of students were abducted by bandits when they invaded Government College, a secondary school in Kagara, Rafi LGA, Niger state last night leaving one student, Benjamin Doma dead in the process.
