The police command in zamfara state have confirmed the deadly attack on a mosque wherein no fewer than five worshippers were murdered. The attack which occurred in a farming community within Kanoma District of Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara state, saw about 18 persons being kidnapped. The bandits stormed a Jumaat Mosque, on Friday at Dutse Gari, a farming and whisked away the Imam and some worshippers. The police spokesperson Mohammed Shehu speaking on the incident emphasized that efforts are underway to apprehend perpetrators of the senseless act.

#EndSARS campaigner, Eromosele Adene has been granted bail in the sum of N1 million by the Yaba Magistrate Court, Lagos, after being in police custody for over a week. The magistrate ruled against an application filed by the policemen attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department seeking to remand Adene for an extra 30 days. Adene was taken away from his Lagos home in Ikeja, by police officers on November 7, 2020 ahead of a planned protest in Lagos. The 27-year-old was subsequently transferred to the Force CID at the Police Headquarters, Abuja on November 9, before he was later returned to Lagos on Sunday, November 15. He was detained for seven days in Abuja before being brought back to Lagos.
