The Niger State Government has on Sunday disclosed that it has secured the release of the abducted passengers of the States’ Transport Authority (NSTA). The Chief Press Secretary to the Niger State Governor, Mary Noel-Berje made the disclosure in a statement in Minna, saying the abductees were released from Zamfara State.

A Nigerian Air Force airplane (NAF201) a B350, has crashed shortly after departing the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 10:33 am, en route to Minna, Niger state. The aircraft, which was carrying six persons on board, including 2 crew members reported engine failure at 1039 am and shortly after crashed landed on the final approach path of Abuja Runway 22 at 10:48 am on Sunday.
