Terrorism: Federal Government Unveil 15 Financiers, Recommends Sanction
The Federal Government has yesterday disclosed it has uncovered the identity of 15 entities, including nine individuals and six Bureau De Change operators and firms, allegedly involved in terrorism financing in the country. This was revealed by the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, NFIU in a mail sent to Punch yesterday night, titled “Designation of Individuals and Entities for March 18, 2024.” The letter detailed that the Nigeria Sanctions Committee met on March 18, 2024, where specific individuals and entities were recommended for sanctioning depending on their level of involvement in terrorist financing.
