Dana Air on 11th May 2024, in a statement through its Head of Corporate Communications, Mr. Kingsley Ezenwa, revealed the temporal extrication of some of its workers amid an ongoing operational audit by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. According to Ezenwa, Dana Air has decided to temporarily relieve some staff members pending the conclusion of the audit. “The audit, currently underway, is a collaborative effort between Dana Air and the authorities to ensure compliance with all necessary standards and regulations. “Dana Air reaffirms its commitment to full cooperation with the authorities to facilitate a smooth and expedited resolution of the audit process.

About 30 armed policemen have taken over all the entrances to the House of Assembly quarters located along the Aba Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers state. The Nigerian Navy (NN) has intercepted a vessel that allegedly fled from Gabon without proper documentation. The vessel, MV BLU-SHARK , was intercepted in Calabar on May 6 at about 11:52hours by the navy’s NNS OSE, a statement by the Navy’s Director of Information, Commodore Aiwuyor Adams-Aliu, said on Friday in Abuja.

The Defence Headquarters has received 20 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC’s) as parts of the Federal Government’s efforts to fight insecurity in the country. The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen. Christopher Musa received the keys of the vehicles during a brief ceremony at the Ministry of Defence Abuja, on Wednesday.
