Edward Buba, revealed that two personnel of the Nigerian Army shall be facing a court martial following the bombing incident at Tudun Biri in Kaduna State, where scores of villager celebrating Maulud lost their lives. The military General made this known today while briefing newsmen in Abuja on updates on operations of the Armed Forces.

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has called for the sacking of the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, and Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu by president Tinubu. The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has informed that social media have become a priority and issue of national security. Gunmen on Sunday night reportedly attacked mourners at Ugwiijoro village, Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State, killing several persons injuring others. Although the police are yet to make any statement concerning this incident, villagers identified five bodies as victims of the dasdardly act. Some of those killed were identified as Okeh Simon Ugwu Oruku, Okeh Chukwuebuka, Julius Ogbonna Odiegwu, and Gabriel Ugwor Ezea.
Senator Dave Umahi, Minister of Works, on his recent inspection of the first phase, section one of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and its realignment in Lagos revealed that the Federal Government has initiated the design of the Badagry-Sokoto Coastal Highway project; Which once completed will connect the North-West to the South-West, and in future link with the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. The latter highway will connect the South-West to the South-South and South-East regions of Nigeria.
