In line with the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda, the Federal Ministry of Education has announced the appointment of Dr. Suleiman Balarabe as the acting Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Education, Zaria, Kaduna state. This is contained in a statement made available by Sani Lawal-Makarfi, Special Assistant to the acting vice-chancellor, yesterday in Zaria.

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has called on the Federal Government to subsidize cost of education instead of the loans it is proposing to give to students that they do not know how to pay pack.. Senate President of the NANS, Henry Okuomo, gave the advice today Friday while granting interview on Channels Television’s programme, Sunrise Daily.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified its mandate regarding the admission process for Higher National Diploma (HND) students. This followed accusations leveled against JAMB by HND students, claiming that the Board was responsible for their inability to go for their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

The Delta state Governor, Sherriff Oborevwori, in his aim to deliver good governance to his people, has approved the 2022/2023 financial assistance for Delta State indigenes in the seven Nigeria Law Schools across the country. Oborevwori’s approval is coming on the heels of the recent approval of the year 2022/2023 bursary award to over 30,000 students of Delta state origin in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
