President Buhari on Thursday said his administration has kept fate with the promise he made to Nigerians as the security challenge confronting the country is gradually being addressed by the gallant troops who are now more committed than ever.
The President made these remarks while commissioning two Agusta109P and one M-171E helicopter at the Eagle Square, Abuja in line with his campaign agenda of stamping out insecurity in the country.

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), led by his Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, on Wednesday called on President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency declare a state of emergency on security in Nigeria. He made the call in Abuja at a press conference organized by the Council.
