The Attorney General and Minister of Information, Abubakar Malami, has revealed that the federal government has directed that the incident which occurred involving the Department of States Services (DSS) and the convener of the #RevolutioNow protest, Omoyele Sowore at the Federal High Court be investigated.

The Presidency has reacted to the re-arrest of the #RevolutioNow convener, Omoyele Sowore, saying that the Department of States Services (DSS) do not require any approval to do what the constitution directs them to do, ordinarily, Sowore’s statement is enough to make him a person of interest to the DSS.

The Department of State Services, DSS has on Friday rearrested the Revolution Now Convener, Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare over fresh charges of treason and money laundering.
