The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is planning to embark on peaceful protest and prayers against unending killings and freedom of Leah Sharibu and Chibok schools girls on Sunday, April 29.
CAN made the declaration in a statement following the killing of two Catholic priests; Rev.Fr Joseph Gor, Rev.Fr Felix Tyolaha and 17 worshippers of St. Ignatius Quasi Parish, Ukpor-Mbalom, Gwer East LGA of Benue State.

Mr. Sharibu gave the clarification in an interview with Punch.
Following the recent deadly robbery attack on some commercial banks in Offa, Kwara state, the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has ordered the redeployment of the Kwara state Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Lawan Ado with immediate effect. According to Vanguard, Ado had been replaced with Mr. Aminu Pai Saleh as the new police commissioner for the state. The former Commissioner on the other hand has been redeployed to Police College, Kaduna.
The Nigerian police have promoted 45 officers involved in the arrest of a billionaire suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumuje Onuoamadike, aka Evans.
The Police Service Commission approved the special promotion of the officers and acting appointments for another 13 officers.
All of the officers were promoted for the gallantry in the arrest of Evans and 21 others believed to be members of his gang.
Ahmad Salkida, the journalist who is known to have access to the Boko Haram terrorist group, has said that 30 out of the remaining 113 abducted Chibok girls are alive.
He revealed the figure in a series of tweets on Tuesday, days after he had claimed that only 15 of the abducted girls in captivity were alive.
According to the journalist, objectives his earlier tweets on Saturday which marked the fourth-year anniversary of the abduction of the schoolgirls included compelling the Federal Government and the insurgents to come clean with the information they have.
