The group of good governance activists headed by veteran musician, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has vowed to embark on a sit-out protest on Thursday, November 30th, 2017, at the premises of the Libyan Embassy in Abuja, against alleged crime of slave trade of Nigerians and other Africans in Libya.

The European Union has announced support for Nigeria’s vision on the rule of law and the fight against corruption for the next four years. The Union on Tuesday, November 28 launched a four-year program to support the Federal Government vision for the rule of law and its anti-corruption war.

Nigerian troops have captured Boko Haram commander, “Ameer” of Chawa, Amman Judee and rescued another 212 persons held hostage by the terrorists.

The capture and rescue took place in an operation to clear remnants of insurgents from some villages in the northern fringes of the Sambisa forest. Four terrorists were also neutralised, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, the Director of Army Public Relations, has said.
