The Federal Government has declared Friday and Monday as public holidays for Muslims in the country to celebrate the end of Ramadan fasting. The announcement was contained in a statement by Shuaib Belgore, permanent secretary in the Ministry of the Interior. Belgore said Rauf Aregbesola, the minister of interior, made the announcement on Wednesday.

President Muhammadu Buhari in his Easter message called on Nigerians to seek legal avenues for addressing any grievances they may have regarding the results of the 2023 general elections.
