President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria left Abuja on Saturday through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, aboard a 20-year-old Boeing 737 Business Jet to commence his multi-state working visits and yuletide holidays.


The President’s schedule for these working visits includes inaugurating projects in Maiduguri, attending the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem, in Borno State.

He departs Borno for Bauchi to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi.

Finally, President Tinubu will proceed to celebrate the yuletide holidays in Lagos, where he is expected to be the Guest of Honour at the Eyo Festival scheduled for December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square.

During the festival, special tributes will be paid to some notable personalities, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, and former Lagos State Governors, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
