Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed that she is still looking forward to remarrying one day. The legendary musician was speaking during a podcast interview making the rounds on social media, where she lamented that at 45, she is still single. Although she admitted that her difficulty in finding an ideal husband could be linked to the standards she is looking for in the potential husband.
Describing her ideal potential husband, she said he should be a young and rich man with no baby mama issues.
In her words, “I’m still looking for someone’s son. I don’t have any [partner]. And I think it is because I’m asking for specific things. Maybe I need to narrow my spec down.
“I’m actually looking for someone who has a private plane, young; someone who doesn’t have baby mama drama because I can’t deal with that,” she said.
Recalls the celebrity Savage was once married to her former manager, Tunji Balogun, popularly called Teebillz, in 2013, but they parted ways in 2018 after attempts to resolve their differences proved futile.
Their marriage produced a son called Jamil.
