FIFA has concluded plan to give more than $1bn revenue to clubs that will be participating in the World Cup as the European Club Association (ECA), negotiating on behalf of clubs in Europe including Chelsea and Manchester City is close to sealing the deal. BBC Sport and others have confirmed that the 32 clubs involved, including 12 European clubs, will take the lion share of what is anticipated for the club football across a seven-match format.

Nigeria’s U-17 girls a.k.a Flamingos, will today fly out of the country to South Africa for the first of their two-leg FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against the U17 girls of South Africa, known as Bantwana. The match, for which the Confederation of African Football has selected Kenyan officials to superintend, will kick off at 3 pm South Africa time (2 pm Nigeria) on Saturday, 8th  March at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa’s administrative capital.

Fulham have condemned racist abuse targeted against, Calvin Bassey following the victory of Emirates FA Cup against Manchester United at the Old Trafford yesterday. Bassey was racially and homophobic trolled on the social media after the game.

Nathan Tella has returned to training with Bayer Leverkusen ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt. Tella had last two weeks suffered a hip injury in the Bundesliga champions’ clash with Bayern Munich. The injury that benched him into missing the last weekend’s 2-0 away win over Holstein Kiel.

Former Ajax and Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has revealed his readiness to take new job come July 1. The legend has been jobless since he was relieved by the Manchester united last October. The Dutchman has since been replaced by Ruben Amorim, who is also struggling at Old Trafford, with the team now in 15th place.
