Manchester United on Tuesday has announced that head coach, Jose Mourinho has left the club.
The football club in a tweet via its verified Twitter handle said “Manchester United has announced that Jose Mourinho has left the Club. We would like to thank him for his work during his time at Manchester United and wish him success in the future.”
Mourinho, who became the first United manager in history to win a major trophy in his first season when he secured the EFL Cup at Wembley last February, also led the club to success in the only competition it had never previously won, when he masterminded the UEFA Europa League win in Stockholm in May. Michael Carrick who was his assistant manager will carry on as Manager pending the time a preferred candidate will be selected.
Pochettino, Wenger, Blanc, and Zidane are being touted as JM replacement in the summer.
