Nigeria Professional Football League top scorer, Junior Lokosa is poised to leave Kano Pillars this season after attracting interest from clubs in the South Eastern Europe and from North Africa’ reports CompleteSports.
Lokosa took his tally to 18 goals in the 2018 NPFL season with a brace for Kano Pillars who defeated Katsina United 3-1 in a Northern derby on Sunday.
A top source in Kano Pillars revealed that Lokosa has an option to leave the club or stay beyond the summer when the transfer window reopens.
“He (Lokosa) has an option to leave in June because presently, clubs from Sudan, Algeria, Bulgaria and Serbia have contacted him,” a top source in Kano Pillars revealed.
“But we will try to keep our best legs in our pursuit to win the NPFL title.”
Lokosa is five goals away from equaling the Mfon Udoh’s 23-goal record set during the 2013/14 season.
