New details about Apple's long-rumored foldable iPhone have surfaced once again, as fresh images purportedly showing the device's design circulate online. The latest leak comes from longtime Apple tipster SOnny Dickson, who shared images believed to be taken from 3D CAD rendering files of the device. The images appear to depict the hardware design of what many in the tech industry have dubbed the "iPhone Fold."
The leak adds to a growing number of reports suggesting that Apple is actively developing a foldable smartphone. According to the images shared by Dickson, the device appears wider than other flagship foldable phones currently on the market from companies such as Samsung, Google and OnePlus.
Dickson’s leak also closely aligns with an earlier design reveal by YouTuber Jon Prosser of FrontPageTech, who previously published details and renders of the anticipated foldable device.
Technology site 9to5Mac noted that the rear of the device appears to feature the same camera plateau design seen on the iPhone Air. However, the foldable model reportedly includes two rear camera lenses.
Additional design elements visible in the renderings suggest a pinhole selfie camera on the front of the device when closed. Another pinhole camera is also positioned on the left corner of the display when the phone is opened, indicating the possibility of two front-facing cameras.
Rumours of a foldable iPhone have circulated for years among Apple followers and industry analysts. Prominent observers including Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo have repeatedly indicated that Apple is working on such a device, with a potential launch window around the fall of 2026.
Based on reports from Prosser and other leakers, the foldable device could feature a 5.5-inch external display and a larger 7.8-inch screen when unfolded. The phone is also expected to measure about 9mm thick when closed and roughly 4.5mm when opened, potentially making it thinner than the rumored iPhone Air.
Prosser has also suggested that the device may include four cameras in total, two on the rear and two for selfies, a configuration consistent with the layout seen in the leaked 3D renderings.
The credibility of Prosser’s information has drawn additional attention because Apple is currently suing the YouTuber over separate leaks involving details about iOS 26 and a feature known as Liquid Glass. According to Apple’s lawsuit, another individual named in the case allegedly transmitted the information from an Apple employee’s phone, lending some legitimacy to Prosser’s sources.
Despite the growing number of leaks and reports, none of the specifications or design details associated with the foldable iPhone have been officially confirmed by Apple.
