Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is set to become the fourth addition to the Galaxy S25 series. Ahead of its anticipated launch later this month, significant leaks have emerged revealing key specifications and pricing details. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, similar to its S25 counterparts, and could stand out as the only model in the lineup to feature a dual-camera setup instead of a triple-camera system.
Leaked Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
According to a report from German outlet WinFuture, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels and a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. True to its rumored “slim” profile, the device is said to weigh just 163g and measure only 5.85mm thick, potentially making it the thinnest Galaxy S series phone to date.
The handset is expected to feature a titanium frame, with glass panels on both front and back. The front is likely to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, while the back could feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Additional features might include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded under the display and an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, the phone is rumored to come with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It is expected to run Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 interface. For photography, the device might feature a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 200-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and an 85-degree field of view, paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera offering an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view. The front camera is also likely to be a 12-megapixel shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree field of view for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options may include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The handset is said to house a 3,900mAh battery.
In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to start at EUR 1,249 (approximately Rs. 1,19,000) for the 256GB model in Germany, while the 512GB variant could be priced at EUR 1,369 (around Rs. 1,30,000). This places it between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra within Samsung’s flagship lineup.
The phone is also rumored to be available in three color options: Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Silver.
