Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday said the ban on commercial motorcycle and tricycle popularly called Okada and Keke Napep in the state would not be reversed despite outcry by some residents.

The Federal Government on Monday it will soon commence recruitment of more troops to address the issue of manpower shortage in the military. The Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who disclosed this while speaking to some clergymen under the auspice of the Arewa Pastors Forum for Peace at the presidential Villa Abuja also urged them to pray for the peace and unity of the country.

The spokesman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Lanre Issa-Onilu has slammed those making commentaries on Boko Haram activities, Kidnapping and banditry, saying it is unfortunate that such comments are assuming ethnoreligious slant which is largely being influenced by partisan narratives by short-sighted individuals. Mr Issa-Onilu said the trend needs to be checked by all concerned who believed in the Nigerian project.
