The spokesman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Lanre Issa-Onilu has slammed those making commentaries on Boko Haram activities, Kidnapping and banditry, saying it is unfortunate that such comments are assuming ethnoreligious slant which is largely being influenced by partisan narratives by short-sighted individuals. Mr Issa-Onilu said the trend needs to be checked by all concerned who believed in the Nigerian project.

Following the increasing insecurity that has continued to create anxiety amongst Nigeria especially the people of the North East, the Lawmaker, representing Southern Borno, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume has called on President Buhari being the president of the Federal Republic who is charged with the duty of protecting the Lives and Properties of all citizens to sit up.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN has assured agencies charged with responsibilities of recovering looted Nigerian funds that the reason for putting a regulation was not to take away their duty from them but as a measure to regulate their activities.
