The Department of State Services (DSS) has cautioned individuals who threaten Nigeria's unity, sovereignty, and cooperation existence. This was disclosed in a statement titled: "DSS supports indivisible, united Nigeria, warns against unsavory, inciting utterances"

Amid the security challenges across the country, President Muhammadu Buhari called on all security heads within the country and has stated that his government will not relent until it puts an end to the insecurity troubling the country. Likewise, The National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno while giving assurance to the nation also reiterated what the president has said that the Federal Government will not relent until peace is restored. 

Following the rising wave of insecurity that has taken the centre stage on the national discussion, the People Democratic Party (PDP) has called on President Buhari to call for a Security conference before the whole country is thrown into chaos.
The National Chairman of the Main opposition PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, made this call yesterday in his keynote address during the 91st emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) in Abuja yesterday.
