The National leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has stated his willingness to join any political party, adding that he will only accept if he is offered the Presidential or Vice Presidential slot for the 2027 general election
He made this known while addressing some of his supporters during a visit to his Miller Road residence in Kano State.
The two-term former governor of Kano state also reacted to the alleged plans by Governor Abba Yusuf to defect from the NNPP to the All Progressive Congress (APC), adding it was an “act of betrayal.”
He said, “I am not party to it, and I am not in support of the purported move to defect from the party. It is necessary that everyone knows this.
“Everybody knows the history; Ganduje destroyed himself and his legacy. We thought everyone must have learnt lesson from these. Only to realize some people were listening to some youths cajoling them to toe same line like Ganduje.”
