British monarch King Charles III has expressed that Nigerian singer Davido style of music made him fall in love with Pidgin English. Accordingly, King Charles expressed that he is yearning to speak Pidgin the next time he visits Nigeria. The monarch made these remarks in the new Apple Music show, The King’s Music Room, which premiered on Monday.
He disclosed likeness of eclectic musical as his favorite during the show, naming Davido’s song Kante, featuring Fave, as one of his favourite songs.
The monarch said, “Davido has made me love Pidgin language. I would like to speak it the next time I visit Nigeria. Thanks to Afrobeats, it’s becoming more popular around the world,”
Davido, via his Instagram story, reposted the video as he gave a shout-out to the royal family.
