Researchers have found that ingesting painkillers during pregnancy could affect the fertility of the unborn child in later life.

The study, which was published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives, revealed that these drugs could affect the fertility of both unborn males and females.

They researchers also discovered it may also affect the fertility of future generations, by leaving marks on DNA. This adds to a growing body of evidence that certain drugs, including paracetamol, should be used with caution during pregnancy.

New United States research has discovered that growing up in a city with a high level of air pollution could increase the risk of Alzheimer's disease and progression of the disease.
