The Minister of Foreign Affair, Geoffrey Onyeama, has disclosed via his Twitter handle @GeoffreyOnyeama the evacuation of 102 Nigerian from Egypt. The 102 evacuees from Egypt have successfully arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja by EgyptAir today 12th June 2020

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Sani Aliyu while briefing on coronavirus update during its daily briefing in Abuja yesterday disclosed the civil Aviation regulators would determine the resumption based on their preparedness but not as an earlier statement.

The Ondo state Security Network Agency, Operation Amotekun, has announced that it is commencing recruitment of operatives. Amotekun Corps Commandant of the state, Chief AdentunjiOlu-Adeleyeadvised indigenes between the ages of 18 and 70 years, with minimum qualification of primary school certificate who may be interested to apply for employment. 

Following the planned resumption of domestic flights, as hinted by the federal government slated for June 21st, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has approved the reopening of about five airports for a start. The Director-General of the NCAA, Capt Musa Nuhu, revealed this in a letter to Accountable Managers of all domestic and foreign airlines in Nigeria. DailyTrust reported that the letter was dated 1st June 2020 with reference number NCAA/DG/AIR/11/16/121.
