JAMB: Universities, Others Warned Against Conducting Distance Learning, Part-time Programmes, Others
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced that Universities and other tertiary institutions conducting degree programmes would no longer directly admit candidates on their sandwich, distance learning, part-time and other programmes unless the candidates' admission is processed through JAMB. This was disclosed on Monday by JAMB’s, Head of Media and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin in the new advisory of the board’s weekly news bulletin. The news bulletin reads, “The JAMB would no longer condone any illegal/irregular admission by any institution.
