President Bola Tinubu has approached the Senate to confirm the appointment of Lieutenant-General Olufemi Oluyede as the substantive Chief of Army Staff, COAS. The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has revealed that Nigerians will pay for the new multipurpose national identity card citing limited government revenue as a reason.
