Former Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Biodun Olujimi, has slammed the African Democratic Congress, ADC, saying it does not have the influence to defeat incumbent President Bola Tinubu come 2027 general election. Olujimi was speaking yesterday during a live Channels Television’s program “Politics Today”.
According to her, the ADC has not prepared enough to dislodge the incumbency ruling party at the ballot considering how chaotic the party still remains.
In her statement, “ADC could not have worked for me. All the leaders there are my friends and my leaders. But it is not properly anchored. The structures are not there. I had thought that if there would be a coalition, the coalition would be in the PDP, where the structures were very distinct and clear”.
Vigil360 had reported on July 1st that, members of the coalition, including a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; former Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola; former Governor of Rivers, Rotimi Amaechi; a former Senate President, David Mark; and Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, among other oppositions, adopted ADC as their new platform for the showdown come 2027 general poll.
