Jude Bellingham scored a late winner as Real Madrid beat Barcelona to move 11 points clear at the top of La Liga after an enthralling El Clasico. Bellingham smashed into the roof of the net as the clock ticked into stoppage time as Real twice came from behind at the Bernabeu.

Manchester United has advanced to the FA Cup final after scraping through via spot kicks against Championship side Coventry City. The second FA Cup semi-final between Coventry City and Manchester United on Sunday evening was incredibly dramatic, as it went into extra time. Manchester United appeared to be in control of the match with a convincing 3-0 lead in the second half, but Coventry City made an impressive comeback, scoring three goals to level the score. Despite this, Manchester United emerged victorious after winning the penalty shootout.

Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday 14th April, defeated Werder Bremen 5-0 to move 16 points clear of Bayern Munich, hence clinching the Bundesliga with five (5) games to spare without a single defeat.

Former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder, Jamie Redknapp has claimed that if not for its forward, Cole Palmer, Chelsea would have been fighting to stay out of the relegation zone this season. He applauded Palmer’s effort that he has been impressive for Chelsea since joining the club from Manchester City last summer. 

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has claimed it was by gambling on himself that make him accept the job at Stamford Bridge. Last summer, Pochettino was appointed as the permanent head coach the Blues’ after he got sacked at Paris Saint-Germain, PSG. The Argentine football legend, was also said to have leave a big stamp with Real Madrid and Manchester United, and therefore admitted that the Chelsea job was going to be “a massive challenge”. 

Manchester City goal poacher, Erling Haaland, has said that his team can still win the English Premier League (EPL) title in spite of their goalless draw with title contenders Arsenal on Sunday. The encounter which took place at the Etihad Stadium saw Manchester City and Arsenal handing Liverpool the advantage in the Premier League title race.
